I am using a linux firewall configured by someone else and left for me
to administer with no prior experience. I am trying to download some
128-bit encrypted files from Microsoft. I keep getting an error message
that it won't let me download because "Your computer does not have a
Domain Name Service entry registered for it, we are unable to determine
the physical location of your computer." It goes on to tell me that my
browser provided information regarding my IP address which is in fact
the correct address for the internet side of the firewall, but the field
for the information provided by my browser for my domain name is blank.
I am sure there is a line in a configuration file on the linux box where
i can change that but i don't know which file or which line. Can
someone help me out?

Thanks.
Brenda
