Go to Suse web site. They have XF86 compliant drivers for SiS. 
You'll need to download two files - xsis.tgz and xsuseconfig.tgz 
(or the rpm equivalents). X works perfectly on my Red Hat 5
on my Asus SP97-V PC. It even asks you if you like virtual 
screens (-I don't).
