I have a 2 gig drive for Linux and a 1 gig drive for Windows95 (ugg). I
tried to partition off the 2 gig drive into 125 swap and the rest for / and
during the install's of both Slackware3.5 and RedHat5.1 it comes back with
error's that It can't finish due to lack of space. Can someone please tell
me what to make the partition sizes and what to make them so that I can
install Slackware3.5? It's just going to be a workstation that I want to
use for getting on the internet also. I will be giving some 2 people shell
accounts on it so they can use it also from their systems.
Also I have access to a RedHat5.1 & a Slackware3.5 box at work and the RH
box seams to dial out to my ISP just fine useing the Network Configurator
in X-Windows but I don't see one In Slackware, I tried to use pppsetup but
that don't work for me at all. It don't put both my ISP name server's in
the /etc/resolv.conf file so I add the other one in but when i type ppp-go
it dials up but never connects at all. I looked at the /var/log/messages
log and all it says it don't say anything as why it's not connecting. Any
idea's on that?

Thanks alot

John
