Hello everyone,
Again, thank you so much for all help so far. I sorted out the adding user via
X thingy, and got it to automatically boot X, thanks for all the advice guys :-)
Now another question, I installed red hat from hard disk, fine, no problem. Now
using the X package manager, I don't know the path name for my second windows HD
where all the red hat stuff lives. When I used FIPS to repartition the drive it
called it /tmp/hdb1/ I tried using that path with the package manager but it
told me no packages lived there.
So what is the proper path, do I have to mount my second windows hard disk in
linux first?
I have a first 500MB windows hard disk, and a second 1.5GB windows hard disk
where the RPMS live (the proper red hat tree hierarchy preserved, it installed
struff fine when I was installing red hat).
Again any help will be most wonderfully appreciated!
Cheers everyone,
Linux Rocks,
Dom
