Instead of using insmod, try using modprobe.  That installs all modules
that your desired module epends on.  First issue "depmod -a" to set up
the dependencies file.  Then - using your example - "modprobe
msnd_classic io=0x290 irq=10 mem=0xd0000" will install that module *and*
all modules that it depends on.
