Well, I finally got my problem with sendmail partially fixed... now I
can get it to startup in 2 seconds and respond nicely to all my
requests... almost.

The problem is when I try to deliver local mail, like for example when I
use fetchmail. When I give the sendmail -q -v command, I end up with
something like this:

<Job ID blah blah blah>
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>... deferred: Network is unreachable.

<Other job ID>
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>... deferred: Network is unreachable.

And so on. Every local mail directed to any user is deferred because
"Network is unreachable". But it shouldn't be doing that since the mail
is local. I've tried basically anything short of connecting to my ISP
and delivering the mail (which in theory would generate a huge amount of
returned mails from the owner of my.host.name because user ti2dll does
not exist).

What am I doing wrong?
