Here is a message from SENTHIL VEL S K <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, I think
it was for the newbie-list, and I got it by error, as I'm neither modem
nor ppp specialist...

Hi,

I have configured my Linux as ppp server, NT workstation as client. When i
dail to my server, i get a message stating that there is no response. But
at the server end , the modem is active and i get an engage tone from the
modem at the server end. Has it got to do something with the Modem setting
connected to the server. I am using Multitech Systems, multimodem,
MT2834BL. I feel i have a problem with modem settings, could someone help
me out.

Regards,
Senthil Vel
