Oops i dont think this is correct, you possably made a typo when typing the
message, what it should say is;;

tty00 at 0x03f8 (irq = 4) is a 16550A
tty01 at 0x02f8 (irq = 3) is a 16550A

Both your commports according to your text are on the same i/o port.

Check first before you do anything, COM2 is "normaly" /dev/ttyS1 and not
/dev/ttyS2.

Linux devices start at 0 "zero" not like dos which starts at 1.

'man setserial' will help you out here, you can change ports with it.
