Hi,

a little while ago I broke something minor in my installation (RH 4.2)
while updating libraries, etc. Now, many text applications compaint
about the fact that the terminal is not fully functional (ex: man,
make menuconfig, etc). Also, I can not get foreign characters.

What program actually control the display? What are its requirements?

inittab loads mingetty, which only needs libc.so.5 which obviously
properly installed.

Any idea?
