I have once setup the PS/2 Intellimouse before. So here's my advice,
if you only want to get it to work. Install the mouse as PS/2 type
mouse. (/dev/psaux). Using the Intellimouse driver somehow doesn't
work. But using the PS/2 option, the mouse works fine, and 3-button
emulation works fine too. No problem at all.
