You can get "Monkey Linux" which I think will fit on 4 or 5 floppies and
comes zipped.  It works under the UMSDOS file system so no need to
re-format.  Because it's a compact distribution it does not take up much
disk space.  You can probably get it from a number of FTP sites (try
looking under /linux/distributions or similar) but I'm afraid I don't
have an exact URL.
