I am the original sender....Well, I think I got the problem fixed. See, here was the deal (and I wished that I had saved the message that caused me so much consternation)...it seems that there are several different possibilities for the address...normally the address will be [EMAIL PROTECTED] That address will sometimes appear in the TO: line, and sometimes the CC: line. I was able to take care of those two instances. But then I got a message that was "Linux-Newbie@some other domain." I couldn't account for that one, or all the other possibilities that might occur....but since "Linux-Newbie@" seemed to be common to all of these instances, I just changed the rules. Instead of the entire address, I just shortened the rules to "Linux-Newbie@" and that seems to have done the trick. Thanks for all the suggestions. Joe
