I am the original sender....Well, I think I got the problem fixed.  See,
here was the deal (and I wished that I had saved the message that caused me
so much consternation)...it seems that there are several different
possibilities for the address...normally the address will be
[EMAIL PROTECTED]  That address will sometimes appear in the
TO: line, and sometimes the CC: line.  I was able to take care of those two
instances.  But then I got a message that was "Linux-Newbie@some other
domain."  I couldn't account for that one, or all the other possibilities
that might occur....but since "Linux-Newbie@" seemed to be common to all of
these instances, I just changed the rules.  Instead of the entire address, I
just shortened the rules to "Linux-Newbie@" and that seems to have done the
trick.  Thanks for all the suggestions.
