If you've got the binary distribution of Maxwell, you change to the
/maxwell-XX/bin directory and type "maxwell". If you've got source code, you
have to compile it according to the instructions, which should be in a file
called install or readme or something like that. I got the binary dist of
Maxwell and it seemed o.k., but it failed to open a file in Word 6 format, which
it's supposed to be able to do. Star Writer, part of Star Office, is still my
favorite of the WYSIWYG word processors I've tried.
