At cheapbytes.com you can get a cd with all the things needed to get
started, it's alot faster than floppy disk, wouldn't have to worry about
downloading all the files, and only cost about 2-3 dollars.
If that isn't a viable solution I know debian and maybe slackware can be
installed off floppy drive, that might be one solution.
Also the newer kernels have support for fat 16/32 and can read/write
windows 3.1/9* drives but don't know if any distrbations have this
compiled in there boot disks or not.
