I am a newbie and have the following question. While running Redhat5.0,
does anyone notice a lot of hard drive activity even when only one or two
users are logged on the system? I am running runlevel 5. The activity
log shows a lot of activity even when I am the only one logged on and the
hard drive is constantly spinning. Also the whole sysem slows down
considerably.
Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
