Everyone's a critic. When I was going to college, we used IBM PC1's (blazing
fast 4.3MHZ 8088) and had to program with the UCSD P-System. You may not
LIKE windows, but it's LOTS better than that was.

And hopefully, the professor will require diversity. We switched from
P-System to DOS-based Turbo-Pascal for our senior project.

A CS class requires you to use Windows?!?! What is the state of education
coming to? Ah, the good old days of pointing a freshman CS student at a VT52

saying "well, what are you waiting for?"
