I must say that the man/info page for setterm is extremely limited. There
are a lot of less obvious options for which I'd like to know more. Could
someone point me to a more detailed documentation regarding setterm?



Also, typing just

#setterm

makes setterm output all its options. Many commands do this, and I've found
that to read everything I could just use   <command> |more    However some
commands, (like settterm) do not pipe their output through more. I guess
they print this information to stderr. How can I pipe stderr through more
(or less?)
