Hello all,

First question:
I recently decided I would try out a few "dockable apps" in X-
Windows. I successfully downloaded and compiled two
WindowMaker applications, Wmppp and Wmmon. Everything
works ok, except now I would like to have them start when I start
Enlightenment(0.15.4)/Gnome(1.0). I am using a .Xclients file in
my home directory with the following(as per the Gnome web page):

#!/bin/bash
    exec gnome-session
## End Sample

Where do I put the command line?

Next question:
I can start wmppp fine from the command line, but if I try to start it
in the top right hand corner (or any place other than its default
place) I just get a shadow area in the top right hand corner, but
the application still appears in its default spot. In other words, I get
an outline of the app in the place where I want it to appear, but
the application still shows up in the default spot. The
Enlightenment web page says it is compatible with afterstep and
windowmaker dockable applications. The wmppp homepage
says it will run fine in any non-WindowMaker window manager as
an app on the desktop. Wmmon does the same thing. Any ideas? I am
using the command:

wmppp +494+0 &

Last question:
Has anyone had any luck compiling eMusic? I exceed all the requirements
for versions of libs, etc, but when I run the Makefile it tells me I have an
newer version of esd than what it is looking for. It wants Esound 0.2.5, yet I
have Esound 0.2.8 (installed via *.rpm). I am using the newer version,
required for Gnome 1.0. Has anyone successfully compiled and is using
eMusic?

If it matters, I am using RH5.2.

Thanks for your time,
Michael
