I think trying to simultaneously read half a dozen HOWTOs has fried my brain. Would someone be kind enough to contact me directly ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) to help me sort out my Ethernet/Kernel headache. Basically I'm trying to set up my linux (RH5.2 K-2.0.36) box so that I can share files between it and my Win95 laptop, and I'm coming unstuck at the first hurdle..... getting linux to recognise my nic.
