Hi,
I have just get my xwindows (fvwm2) on redhat 5.0 up an running? But there are a
few things that I am quite puzzled.
1) When I run the the pre-installed game, xgala?, and I hit the spacebar,
the game will exit by itself and disappear from the screen. What is the
problem? Is there something wrong with my keyboard mapping?
2) Why can't I execute certain command using xterm in xwindows? For
example, when I try 'vigp', the result is command not found. But when
I try it in the console, there is no problem. This also happens when I
use 'shutdown'.
3) If I use runlevel 5 to start xdm as the login process, once I get into
xwindows, how can I do a proper shutdown of the system? If I exit
xwindows, I will be greeted by the graphical login prompt again?
4) When I try to activate the screensaver or lock the screen, nothing will
happen. What is the reason?
