Yes and no. I think pine won't fetch mail for you using any other
protocol, but you can run (fetchmail and some mail delivery agent), or
popclient to retrieve the mail from your server and place it in a
mailbox, then read and reply to it with pine. popclient looks like it
might be easier to set up. I hope you installed all the man pages. :-)
