Hello all. Does anyone on this list use DHCPd ??. I need a sample /etc/dhcpd.conf file and any other tips for getting the cable modem working under linux. I have tryed numourous things but i cant get dhcpd to configure my interface card, the card itself is seeing traffic on the modem, tcpdump shows the traffic ok, however dhcpd will not connect to the ISP and configure the card. At the moment i am forced to use windows bah!. The linux system is kernel 2.2.5 and the distro is Redhat-6.0. I installed dhcp-2.0b1pl6-6 from the 6.0 distro cdrom.
