Kmail message: What does it mean?

I'm trying to get Kmail to work and I'm coming very close to it except
for one thing:  When I attempt to get new mail, I get the following
error message:

'Account Richard Salts in Open
Unknown Error 4294967295'

What does this mean and how can I fix it so that I can get new mail
using this program?
