Hello,

As usual I am full of questions.

Just went to a swap meet today and purchased RED HAT 6.0.

Did the upgrade and managed to get X working with GNOME.

The only trouble is that GNOME reports that being logged in as ROOT can damage the
file system.

It goes on to say, the manual states how to set non-priveldged users for access but as
I only purchased the CD's I do not have the manual.

Can some nice person tell me how to set this non privedlged user for X access?

I have a ROOT account and a normal user account on the system, VK3JMA.

bye for now

Mark
