Subject: printing to a hp2000c
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

hi folks-

got a printer the other day - but i can't get it to print.

well it prints ascii directly to port (lpr1) - using printtool
but if i try to use lpr to print i get:

lpr: connect: No such file or directory
jobs queued, but cannot start daemon.

what's wrong? also - there are no matching drivers for the hp2000c
what would be the closest match?

the rude
