You need to be more persistent than that. The information that
Lawson provided was in good faith, but it was outdated info (as I think he
pointed out). If you go to http://metalab.unc.edu/LDP you should find a
link to the current location of the Linux MCA home page.
I doubt that a SCSI controller would be the limiting factor in any
install. I do remember being stuck on an MCA install once, but that was
becuase of an unsupported RAID controller.
