How would I do that? And now I also have a new problem: yesterday I started
linux, it started ok except for several things which failed to start in
init, they had to start with something 'rm' and I saw every time 'rm: bash:
rm: can't execute binaries' and then in red FAILED behind it. Then I logged
in as root and did startx, it gotten to the grey screen and went back to the
textprompt with the message it couldn't load font normal or standard or
something like that. When I did xinit, the same happened. Then I did
shutdown -r now and I haven't been in linux since then. I think I have
installed something which I shouldn't have, but don't know what's the
problem. Would that color-ls*.tar.gz be it? Also, if kde is running nicely
on my system, do I need to install qt separately or not? Because when I did
'whereis qt' bash didn't seem to find it, opposed to 'whereis kde' which
yielded the exact path to kde.
Thanks
Henny
