The thing that worries me is ppp08!!!!! Do you mean you have 8
point-to-point connections? Or does it mean that when the connection
'dies' the interface remains active? That would be really strange, and
seems like a software problem to me...
Maybe you should send as the ifconfig/route/traceroute 194.195.227.145
outputs when you are connected...
