I'm sure there are many, many others, but may I suggest an HP DeskJet from the
690 series. I use a 695c both at home and at work with my COL 2.2 Linux system and a
Mandrake 5.3 system and they work just fine. Just use the DeskJet 6xxc or 550 drivers
and your all set. Works in WP 8.0, SO 5.x, Netscape 4.xx, everything (even gimp).
Color and all and shouldn't cost more than $140.
