After some tweaks to sound and x, I have RH6 running smoothly
(including 800x600 16bit on the lcd) on my Compaq LTE 5300. One
problem- I can't figure out why PCMCIA is not starting. lsmod does
not show any pcmcia modules, and I don't see "starting pcmcia"
when booting up.
I do not have any experience configuring pcmcia so am lost,
however, kpackage does show kernel-pcmcia is installed.
Obviously, without PCMCIA I cannot (easily) connect to my LAN or
the net. Not sure what to do- any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated.
