Just a couple of (general) questions:
- What is the URL for the Linux Documentation Project?
- Any suggestions for really good Linux online resources
(installation/admin/C/C++ & Java development) ?
And now someting more specific:
I want Linux to boot in character mode, and then allow me to choose
whatever GUI/Interface I want to use. Somebody mentioned MC
(Midnight Commander).
How does one prevent Red Hat from automatically booting into Gnome?
The problem is that my screen driver/setup isn't finalized, and I cannot
navigate around Gnome! The only way out is by means of a reboot -
'File/Exit' does not work either.
