Jona,
It sounds like you might have a Name lookup problem is the client
computer listed in /etc/hosts ? what program is it that your using
clienside ?and is it doing it only when sending or does it do it when
recieving also (Sendmail only mandles mail going from the lcient to the
host, in order to set somthing else up you will need to Configure IMAPd or
POPd.
What does the Sendmail Log say?
