Hi !
After digging through the gs5.5 installation with rpms (the ones i had
before were broken) and some additional source installations i can now work
on the settings for the printer....but the new additional driver doesn't
appear in the list of the RedHat printtool.
Now here are my questions: does the printtool have anything to do with
ghostscript ? Does it matter that the model doesn't show up there ? Do i
have to add the model/driver by hand ? Does the StarOffice come along with
its own drivers (i noticed that in the printer setup of the SO are more
printers listed than under printtool) ?
I'm using RedHat 5.2 and ghostscript 5.5 and added the driver for the HP DJ
880/890 printers.
Any advice and well, yeah, if necessary flames are appreciated.
