Hey Gurus and fellow newbies.... I'll just installed Digi board and added their drivers to the kernel (ver. 2.0.36). The instructions from Digi International says the I can compile the kernel either monolithically or as a module. My questions are A) How do I compile the kernel (monolithically or as a module)? and B) What is the difference between the 2 methods of compiling? I have Red Hat 5.2 installed.
