Hello to all,
I downloaded from SUN the 70 MB .tar file with the 5.1a version. Presently I
have the SO 5.0 Version I installed together with my SuSE 6.1 box.
In order to "upgrade", I have in mind to do the following:
Under root:
uninstall the actual version with SO uninstall.
under /opt/Office50/bin
I have already unpacked the tar file under /usr/tmp
Installing the new version in /opt with:
./setup /net
Once installed this way, I will move under /home and
hit the sosetup, which I hope will take into consideration
the few files I have under /home.
Now, StarOffice uninstall dies of course not uninstall "all"
files...
Questions:
Is the above approach correct ?
