I've just installed Star Office 5.1 and JDK 1.1.1-v1a (which is compatible
with SO 5.1, according to so51inst/README).
Every time I try to browse a web page with javascript or java classes,
staroffice tells me:
2
"At least one compatible Java Runtime Environment was found
which can be used by Star Office in /usr/local/jdk-1.1.1-v1a"
"Java Development Kit (Version 1.1.7, verified)"

I click "Accept" and SO tells me:

"You must exit and restart Star Office to apply the new settings".

But I restart Soffice, and I restarted KDE and also the WHOLE system and
this message comes once and again and changes never take effect.

My environment variables are:
JAVA_HOME=/usr/local/jdk117_v1a
CLASSPATH=/usr/local/jdk117_v1a/lib/classes.zip

And I added JAVA_HOME/bin to my PATH and added
JAVA_HOME/lib/i686/green_threads and path-to/native_threads to my
/etc/ld.so.conf and run ldconfig as root.
Anything else I can do to make Star Office having java support?
TIA.
