scanner

Hi,

Does anyone know how kan I work with a scanner using Linux?
I have Redhat 6.0.
My scanner is Mustek 1200 for Enhanced Paralell Port.
I have gimp 1.0.6 but I didn't see something like AQUIRE TWAIN on it.
So I need a "driver" to connect the scanner and a soft to get the
pictures in a format usable by Gimp.
Maybe someone knows a site.
