Does anyone know the best way to copy a partition?
I have a 13GB hard disk..If I use 'dd' to copy hda1 to hda2
(both 2GB primary partitions), it takes about 20 minutes (approx. what
I expected). If I copy hda1 to hda6 (2GB extended partition) it
takes about 2 hours!
Why is this so slow ?
Are 'dd' copies made faster by using some of the dd parameters (like bs=32768
IIRC) ?
What's the best way to copy from partition to partition ?

P.S. This is my backup for Windows NT drive, which crashes on a
