It looks like i have missed some mail, yesterday vger was refusing mail
saying no space left on device. So i could have missed a point or 2.
Anyway, the most common problem with an nfs install is the user not
spesifing the correct path to the "slakware" directory on the cdrom, or if
the source is on H/D then you must spesify the mountpoint and the path to
the slakware directory.
I belive i am correct in saying the path for a cdrom would be something
like;
cdrom/slakware
The mistake is made by thinking the taget system knows where the directorys
can be located, if one states "cdrom" you must state the directory as well.
The directory being slakware which holds the directorys which are in
alfabetical order. A AP N X XP etc.
Check on the server in /etc/fstab and exports for the mountpoint.
and make sure a "user" has permissions to mount that device on NFS.
The rest of the explanation below says the network is running ok as you can
login to the server.
