You can restrict the log rule like any other chain rule, e.g.

$ ipchains -A input ! -s 129.70.0.0/16 -i ippp0 -l

To log only packets that don't originate in the University of Bielefeld
and come over the ippp0 interface. There's a good ipchains-HOWTO and
somewhere I found a ipchains-reference-card.

List and sender is OK, I think. At least I do it like that and nobody
