I would like to use my HP 8100 CD-RW under Linux.
I read the CD-Writing how-to, and it mentioned I had to install SCSI
support, in order for Linux to recognize my CD-R drive (IDE, internal) as
if it were a SCSI device. How do I do that? I would prefer to use SCSI
support as a module, and I didn't install it the first time. I would not be
at ease recompiling the kernel, and I don't think that would be necessary.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Otto Pintiaski
