Hey, It finally looks like the modem is up and running, Hooray! Thanks to all on this list. So I am now able to dial out and it is matter of time before I get Linux up and running at work too! Thanks again to all who gave me ideas and inputs. The probelm I have now is that I like my screen resolution on X to be 1024x768 and 16 bit colour. It starts up in that mode, but the virutal screen size is too big. I want that to have one desktop per screen. That is I don't want to scroll down to see the "task bar". I run an SVGAserver and have a SiS card and 8Mb of VRAM. Where must I look or is there a quick fix?
