Yes, the virtual_maps= hash:/etc/postfix/virtual is at the main.cf.. My
error was at the syntax for virtual file. it should be like this:
banner.com anything # (yes, the word anything can be anything, it doesnt
matter.. :)
[EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] # i wanted emails
addressed to former sent to my latter address
@banner.com @localhost # (i want all other localhost accounts to also get
email of the form [EMAIL PROTECTED]
That was it. simple it turned out ;) Aside from the semantics of the above,
I had no problems migrating to postfix from sendmail. It just was so
painless and seamless that even scripts using sendmail doesnt even need to
know about the change.
