Well, I read everything about CD Writing, and managed to get it to work.
I use RH 6.2, HP CD-RW 8100 IDE/internal.
So, I enabled ide-scsi as a module, edited lilo.conf, adding "append
hdc=ide-scsi". I also ran lilo - two times to be honest, since I boot from
a floppy, and lilo is installed in the floppy and in /dev/hdb5. So I run
both, in the floppy and in hbd5. Lilo said something about "not being in
the frist 1024 cylinders", but since I already knew that, and booted from a
floppy, I thought it was fine.
I looked into both lilo.conf files, and both have the "append" line.
However, in order to use my CD-RW to write CDs, I need to type, when LILO:
appears, the entire line, i.e.: "linux hdc=ide-scsi", or otherwise when I type:
cdrecord -scanbus
I can only see my Zip 100 Drive.
Even when I type the entire line above and write/copy a CD, Xcdroast still
shows my CD-RW two times, i.e.: hdc and sd.

Ok, I can use it, it is nothing "serious enough" to worry about, but I like
doing things the proper way, even if only for learning how to do it.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
