Hi, After I had upgraded the qt-2.1 library and at the same time installed ncurses-5.1 some things are not the same anymore. In midnight commander (mc) the Home and End keys do not work and what is most annoying in vi and in at the Back key does not work, when pressed it shows ^?. In vi the Delete key still works, however, not in at therefore if I make a typing mistake I cannot correct it. This all happens when in gnome terminal, my preference. In Xterminal in vi and at the Back key is still working, however, not the Home and End keys in mc. Yet all these keys work perfectly well in the console outside startx. Another change happened, when launching a program from a terminal with & it does not open anymore I have first to enter fg. This is in all terminals, however, not with all programs. Further, clicking the left and right mouse button simultaneously will not anymore paste a block put into the clipboard with left mouse click. I have to do now s-ins. I was so used to this left/right click pasting. I do not know which of the above library caused those changes since I installed them just one after the other. I suspect it's the ncurses judging by its name. Can all this be corrected and how?
