I don't know of the VZ issue is related to the inability of OMSA 6.1 to work on a system with tun interfaces but I ran into this myself last night...
Since I really need the OpenVPN infrastructure I decided to downgrade until Dell wises up and fixes *their* problems instead of blaming others... If someone has a workaround, I'm all ears though ^^ Regards, Berend Dekens PJF wrote: > Greetings all, > > Any update on the latest 6.1 OMSA issue with OpenVZ kernels? > > Running CentOS 5.3 with 2.6.18-128.2.1.el5.028stab064.7 the latest version > of OMSA is not playing nicely with others. > > /usr/bin/omreport: line 5: 26709 Segmentation fault > /etc/delloma.d/oma/bin/omcliproxy omreport "$@" > /usr/bin/omreport: line 5: 26711 Segmentation fault > /etc/delloma.d/oma/bin/omcliproxy omreport "$@" > Couldn't close filehandle for command '/usr/bin/omreport -? 2>&1': > Couldn't close filehandle for command '/usr/bin/omreport system esmlog -fmt > ssv': > > If I reboot into the stock CentOS 5.3 2.6.18-164.el5 kernel all is well. > > This came to my attention after I decided to upgrade 20+ servers to the > latest version of OMSA - please don't make me downgrade :) > > Wonder if anyone has an ETA?
