Our iSCSI HBAs are viewed within the OS as HBAs, not NICs.  They require
BIOS setup for mapping to targets, and are managed by vendor-provided
utilities.  The host sees a SCSI device bus.

No experience with Broadcom, but they will be managed by vendor-provided
drivers and utilities as well as settings in the BIOS in order to enable
login to targets prior to OS load.
