I tried using the local ftp repository but that doesn't work on 1.0 which is
why I have to upgrade to 1.3 and then point it to the local ftp repository.
Does DMC include a repository manager or do we have to use DRM?

The overall hardware segment support for Linux is quite spotty, and IMHO
Dell is one of the brighter spots. In addition to their active Linux
support for their server and laptop product lines, they also contribute,
for instance, Matt. Who pretty much wrote DKMS, contributes to
maintenance of a number of kernel modules, and sits on the Fedora Projects
board. He's wired in pretty high at Dell these days, and I trust what he
says here.

Looks like the firmware repo is falling out of date. This happened
before when it was unofficial. Maybe now that it is official something
can be done?

The OM 6.2 server update utility (SUU) disc that was released in December was
pulled and replaced with a new version last week. The DRAC5 firmware going from
1.5 to 1.51 was one of the changes. I just updated the yum repo yesterday to
reflect the new SUU disc.

We are installing a couple of PE servers (2900 and R710) at our summit
facility. Ambient temperature can be as low as 1C (dewpoint at -15C).
Apart from annoying "low ambient temperature" warnings from OMSA, is
there anything to be concerned about? Is it feasible to adjust fan RPM
settings?
