Dell - Internal Use - Confidential Hi Nicole, From initial analysis it looks like the PM license check(to check whether update is allowed on system) is failing for the Dell Update Package. Probably some IPMI commands are failing in the system. To analyze, we require logs. Can u please provide us the logs?
These are the steps to get the debug logs: 1. Extract dup by running the command "dup.bin --extract \dup_extract_dir" 2. Change to the extracted directory by running “cd \dup_extract_dir “. 3. Create an empty file called dupdebuglog [without extension] by running “echo “” > dupdebuglog” . 4. Run ./spsetup.sh 7. Attach all the *.log files and also Dell customer logs from /var/log/dell/updatepackage/log/ and /var/log/dell/updatepackage/log/support directories. Thanks, Ananya.
