Hello all, hope all is well.

I had built centos6 and centos7 live images for use with the dsu for
non-rhel/centos hosts and/or older rhel/centos hosts and/or point release
where the dsu was acting finicky on otherwise blessed OS installs. They
worked fine running dsu -i.

I have returned to the process on r630s and the previous live images do not
work and neither do fresh live images work.
So when I say NOT work, I run dsu -i and after "Getting System
Inventory..." I recevied filesystem errors. I am sitting on the console
ttyS1 watching kernel messages as well.

[ 474.385717] Buffer I/O error on device dm-4, logical block 1049085
[ 474.393779] lost page write due to I/O error on dm-4

 614.301791] EXT4-fs warning (device dm-4): __ext4_read_dirblock:902: error
reading directory block (ino 269951, block 0)
[ 614.503370] EXT4-fs warning (device dm-4): __ext4_read_dirblock:902:
error reading directory block (ino 269954, block 0)

Selinux on or off has no effect. Copying to ram doesn't help. Initially I
created sparse files for the basis of my live images. After many FS errors,
I then switched over to a 13G fully allocated image file. With that I
seemed to have better luck. I coud run dsu -i 3x before I received FS errors

[root@localhost ~]# dsu -i

Another data point, even on the images created with sparse files I can run
targetted selections and it works
i.e.
dsu -t
dsu --get=SV and they complete
However I want to run dsu -n and rinse and repeat

I understand its beyond the scope of this list to help create a live image.
However I feel I've done that. With these live images I have installed
other drivers and copied gigs of data to the FS, just to stress test the FS
after seeing the errors, without issue.

Yes there is a live iso from Dell. It was last updated in Feb of 2015. If
you think that will fly, you haven't tried your own support, with a server
that behind in updates. ;)

Any thoughts as to what apparent, note I say apparent ;), havoc dsu is
causing? Am I missing something?
